Working from his studio in Los Angeles, he first develops patterns in paper, scans them to a computer where they are drafted. Prototype drawings are then printed,and models are built to be further refined. Finally the prototypes are cut in flexible polypropylene to create the wearable structures.
From his fascination and study of shape and form, he has also drawn from the natural world and has created Insects, 'the true exoskeleton', a new poplojik line that will appear next spring.
